Moblin is a new version of Linux designed specifically for Atom based Intel processors and is sponsored directly by Intel.  I have to admit that I was pretty harsh regarding Moblin 1.0 but that now with version 2 they might have me hooked.

Google Android 1.5 is getting some nice user interface changes as well as other features.  I have not seen a release date yet for version 1.5 but I have a feeling it will help Android to stay competitive and coincide with the releases of both the Palm Pre and the iPhone 3.0.

This release from the KDE is a pretty good one from the looks of it. It is sure to get some criticisms for some aspects that resemble features of both Windows Vista/7 and OS X. The good thing is that it has enough of it’s own new features to stand out. Read more »
