Moblin 2.0 could be the best OS yet for Netbooks
Moblin is a new version of Linux designed specifically for Atom based Intel processors and is sponsored directly by Intel. Â I have to admit that I was pretty harsh regarding Moblin 1.0 but that now with version 2 they might have me hooked.

Google Android 1.5 is shaping up nicely
Google Android 1.5 is getting some nice user interface changes as well as other features. Â I have not seen a release date yet for version 1.5 but I have a feeling it will help Android to stay competitive and coincide with the releases of both the Palm Pre and the iPhone 3.0.

KDE 4.2 has been released!
This release from the KDE is a pretty good one from the looks of it. It is sure to get some criticisms for some aspects that resemble features of both Windows Vista/7 and OS X. The good thing is that it has enough of it’s own new features to stand out. Read more »
