Now that the whole concept of a Google Operating System is starting to sink in a lot of people are really trying to understand what it will be like. Another thing that has been revealed today is that Microsoft has a huge announcement coming next week that could be regarding Gazelle. If in fact it is, Microsoft could seriously one-up Google.

From my previous article about Gazelle: Gazelle’s Browser Kernel is an operating system that exclusively manages resource protection and sharing across web site principals. This construction exposes intricate design issues that no previous work has identified, such as legacy protection of cross-origin script source, and cross-principal, cross-process display and events protection.

We will have to wait until Microsoft springs another leak (or next week) to find out what the announcement is all about. Meanwhile if you are looking for some good humor regarding Google Chrome OS, here is a post from the Woot! blog by Dave Rutledge titled “11 Undocumented Features Of Google Chrome OS”.
