Technology nowadays are going very advance, so the military must be very careful on their information and must technological update themselves as well. This is no joke because these information can lead to bigger problems soon.

I agree! Every government should be spending substantially more on technology and keeping updated with it. One thing I like about Obama’s administration is that he is at least aware of how seriously behind our government is with technology. Instad of limiting technology let’s it advance and make our governments more efficient (and hopefully cost less).

Locking down USB-connectivity has been possible since motherboard’s introduced intergrated ports.

Windows Vista/7… what a “great” security idea!

These aren’t advanced concepts, but apparently are beyond even the military’s comprehension.

What is sad is that it has been possible (disable via BIOS, hardware locks etc.) for so long and now there are such easy methods for doing so in new operating systems (policies etc.) but laziness and/or ignorance has kept government techs from doing the correct thing.
