Don’t want to wait for Google Chrome OS in 2010? Then try out Google Android for your desktop! The LiveAndroid team has been hard at work and has finally released a beta version of Android as a Live CD. The best part about this is not that you can use it without being forced to install it.

Internally I am torn as to whether or not Android should even be ported to PC’s but competition is always a good thing and as such I wish Android the best of luck.

UPDATE:: I have not been able to get it fully booted yet on any of my computers or with VMware. If anyone is able to actually get it working please let us know in the comments.
