Apparently Internet Explorer 8 is exceptional at blocking malware sites. Out of 492 malware sites IE8 blocked 69% of them. You might be thinking that they still missed 40% of them but the next closest rival (Firefox) only blocked 30% of the sites.

Internet Explorer 8 is now available for download but not everyone gets to “enjoy” it.  It would appear that while the browser itself is ready for mainstream it is not going to be available for Windows 7 beta users.   Hopefully the release candidate that is soon to be released will contain the final version [...] Read more »

Internet Explorer 8 is being released TODAY!  The official download will be available starting at 12 noon EST from Microsoft.  This is the same browser that is going to be released in Windows 7 but wouldn’t have been better if Windows 7 released with Internet Explorer 7?  It would really help to keep the product [...] Read more »
