The official Windows Team that developed Windows 7 has a new article that covers pretty much anything and everything you ever wanted to know about the Windows 7 “Homegroup”. Essentially Homegroup is a a way network your Windows 7 computers and devices such as Xbox 360’s that is fast easy and secure. The concept is pretty good and is enabled in the Windows 7 beta. At this point this is definitely a win for Windows 7 over Vista and only time will tell if its better than XP’s network sharing (which just simply worked even if it wasn’t the most secure by default).
