Android users rejoice! T-Mobile has confirmed that they are rolling out a major update to Google Android phones across the US. The updates will be pushed one region at a time but should be completed by the 15th of this month. Unfortunately the update does not include the much anticipated Cupcake features but does have some other much needed updates.
- Google Voice Search (This is the same as is already available for the iPhone)
- Long-click saving for images and files
- Manual update option to check for updates
- Multiple bug fixes
There will be additional details released in the next couple of days but it looks like the Cupcake features are still on the roadmap. This is just a pre-Cupcake release to take care of some much needed issues.

Some Cupcake pieces should be seen in this update as I believe it will include the direct ability to save pictures from text messages which is a Cupcake feature.
